Technical data sheet
Low-pressure safety coupling, Series 126.VS - nominal flow diameter 7.8 - brass, nickel plated
This single-hand coupling with hexagonal coding is used to prevent a mix-up of different media. Locking elements are 5 balls that are locked by a spring-loaded release sleeve. The system is secured against unintentional opening by a locknut.
Separation of plug connector and coupling is started by loosening the locknut with subsequent movement of the release sleeve towards the connection.
Please note that this hexagonal coded coupling can just be used in combination with a special plug pug.
Areas of application
The coupling can be statically loaded up to 35 bar without pulsation.
Basic body, connection, valve and locking disc brass, nickel-plated
Release sleeve steel, tempered, nickel-plated
Pressure springs, retaining ring 1.4310
Seals made of nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR)
Hardness of material 70 Shore
Temperature range -30°C through +110°C
Temperature range -35°C through +110°C (allowed for short periods)
Gas permeability coefficient (Ø)=5
Resistant to mineral oils, fuels, water and watery liquids, fuel gas, hot air and many chemicals (on request)
If air or ozone are applied, hardening and brittleness (cracking) must be expected.
